Time-Varying Reflectivity Modulation on Inverse Synthetic Aperture Radar Image Using Active Frequency Selective Surface

چکیده
Interrupted-sampling repeater modulation (ISRM) can generate multiple virtual target images by sampling and forwarding radar signals to confront the inverse synthetic aperture (ISAR). However, repeating delay is unavoidable system complex. Moreover, numerous works mainly discuss ISAR image deception based on periodic modulation, effect relatively limited. Active frequency selective surface (AFSS) perform intermittent amplitude reflected signal varying reflectivity, thus, it achieve function of ISRM. In this paper, possibility AFSS applied in generation discussed, an image-modulation method proposed. The periodically modulated which accomplished AFSS-loaded PIN diodes. On basis, modulating randomly varied a slow time domain. When processed system, produced unfocused cannot be recognized radar. Simulation results are utilized demonstrate effectiveness proposed method.

Imaging Frequency-Dependent Reflectivity from Synthetic-Aperture Radar
This paper develops a method for using a synthetic-aperture radar system to obtain not only a spatial image of a scene but also the localized frequency dependence of the scene reflectivity. In other words, for each image pixel, we also obtain a plot of the frequency dependence of the reflectivity in that pixel. We present a method for extracting this information from the data, and also a formul...

■ Many factors govern the design of image-coding systems, ranging from the sensor type through storage and transmission limitations to the imagery end use. Image-compression performance depends on the costs of storage or transmission bandwidth (in bits per pixel), computational burden (in operations per second), information loss (utility), and artifacts that may change the receiver operating ch...
